We want to create a cinematic video on Filmora then need to cut the video to create a black bar at the top and bottom of the video just like the below image

Filmora has given the option to crop the video by selecting tool crop and zoom
Choose custom we crop video manually from the top and the bottom then video ready for the cinematic frame on video
But the main problem is explained in the example we have edited lots of footage in the timeline of Filmora then we select this custom crop and zoom tool
now you need to crop all your video which edited in the timeline just like in that 50 footage then you need to crop all 50 video manually one by one
Then also you crop footage but every video has a different frame size that time this crop tool did not work means the footage cropping is small and another cropping footage has large both frame not match with the first one footage to the second footage
These major drawbacks have in Filmora to create the cinematic frame while selecting crop and zoom tool
The One Which you Add Cinematic Frame on the Video
- Select text any you want but select a simple text drag into timeline then double click or right-click on the mouse on text choose advance edit
- In the Advance edit panel see above tools move the mouse arrow over tool the shape option looked
- then select and choose rectangle shape
- After choosing a rectangle in the video panel at the top and the bottom any colored bar display
- Now you change the color of bars from the color tool from the edit panel
- Drag the bar at the top and the bottom
- Now the see your footage look awesome with the just adding a black bar or cinematic frame
